Me. Hadla Traboulsi: Lawyer and activist in social and environmental matters, practiced law then redirected her career to activism and civil society . Hadla initiated and led advocacy campaigns on promoting the Green School concept. She acted as a coordinator for the Civil Society –Parliament liaison Unit to enhance the role of CSOs in the legislative process and acted as an appointed Member of the Environment committee in Beirut Bar Association. She holds a law Masters degree.
Mrs. Cathy Chami Tyan: Co-founder of World Environment Group and chief editor of World Environment Magazine. She advocates environmentalism among children and in corporations. She launched the national school competition for Bank Med, Lecturer in several schools and universities in Lebanon about environmental issues. She deeply believes that education and information are powerful tools in promoting social and behavioral change. She holds a BS in Mass Communications and languages.
Me. Mohamed Y. Alem: Founder and managing partner of Alem & Associates, a leading regional law firm in the Gulf and the Levant. Mohamed is one of the highly reputable Arab lawyers where he focuses his practice on alternative dispute resolution, energy, and complex commercial cross-border transactions. He is a major contributor to domestic and regional efforts in promoting core values of modern societies such as freedom, democracy, human rights and transparency. He is a regular keynote speaker at international conferences on a multitude of current legal subjects. He currently co-chairs the Beirut Committee of Human Rights Watch (HRW) and acting as Secretary General for the Lebanese Centre for Policy Studies (LCPS). Mr. Spiro Habash: Founder of Clicks Ltd, Consultant in Education and Business IT solutions. Spiro worked on designing and implementing school management system in more than 45 international schools in Lebanon, the Arab Gulf, China & Hong Kong. He developed information systems for health care, banking IT security & device applications for companies in Lebanon. He is also an expert on web & internet issues, and has participated in resolving disputes related to software piracy, domain name and identity theft. He holds a BA degree in electrical engineering, computer and communication as well as other IT related certifications.
